The best version of it I have come across so far is from the film Tokyo Sonata which I blogged about recently, it’s got an energy I haven’t found anywhere else. Unfortunately You Tube only has a clip of it half way in plus it loses much of the energy, I think, when not viewed within the context of the film, so watch that first if possible then watch this to remind you, or don’t it’s up to you! But still it’s nice. Search you tube for Clair De Lune, there are many versions, I like it best with just the piano, I think, else it gets to cluttered.
